Now, quite a few bus rides I've taken have been somewhat annoying. The one I took today, however? Just took the cake.
I'd been on the bus for a couple of minutes or so, I was listening to my Mp3 player quite contentedly, & it was reasonably peaceful.
......Until these two teenage girls got on.
They looked like they were aged between 15 and 18, although I obviously can't tell for sure. Anyway. These girls went to the back of the bus, and settled down. A few seconds later, they started to chat to each other. But they weren't conversing in a quiet manner, as is the polite fashion on public transport, oh no - they were practically shouting at each other. This sort of thing never fails to irritate the shit out of me, but that wasn't even the worst part.
A few seconds later, they cranked up their own music, so loudly that you could hear it all over the entire vehicle, and then they burst into song.
This continued for pretty much the entire journey (they calmed down a bit after one of their friends got on the bus, but only for a little while). I had my own music turned up louder than I usually have it (but still quiet enough so that other passengers wouldn't have to endure it, which is more than I can say for those two shits in the back seats), but even that couldn't drown out their racket. They just had no fucking consideration for the other passengers (some of which were beginning to look incredibly pissed off as the journey went on, and who happened to haul their asses off the bus as fast as they could to get away from the wannabe pop stars), and it really got on my nerves. I was one of the passengers who practically darted off the bus.
Gah. So annoying.
On a completely different note, when I was browsing through some shops before I started work, I noticed that there was a load of flies buzzing around the Dorothy Parkins store. o_O That was odd.
noisy people,
attack of the stupid,
shops,
public transport,
rude people,
the stupid it burns
