Happy days....

I was late in getting ready and out of the house this morning, but I eventually made it into town to meet Jem. It was quite funny, Jem has noticed a pattern developing: She usually thinks that she's going to be late, and then I end up being late. What happened? I'm usually so punctual....

Anyway, we just wandered around the shops for an hour or so (trying not to get squashed by the large amount of untamed 10-year-old brats on skateboards). I told myself that I wouldn't buy another CD (at least until I recieved my next couple of paychecks), but I just couldn't control the urge to visit my favourite music shops. Whilst in Virgin Megastore X-Press (which, frankly, is a pretty bollocks name for it, why not call it "Virgin Ministore" instead?), I was flipping through the reduced CDs and, to my delight, came across a copy of Morcheeba's 1996 album Who Can You Trust?. Of course, I had to buy it. I have been looking for that album for ages! It's quite rare over here, so I am extremely chuffed that I managed to find it. And it was only £6.99! *Happy dance*

After we had been around the shops, Jem put some money into her building society account. Then, we walked back to Jem's house for some DVD/video viewing.

I showed Jem the deleted scenes on my latest Farscape DVDs (the scene with Chiana and Aeryn is brilliant, I'm telling you), and Jem showed me various bits from the movies All That Jazz, Caberet (the songs from that film really do stick in your head) and also the Frasier episode Lilith Needs A Favour, which is fantabulous. =D We also watched parts of Friday's episode of My Family (I missed the beginning of it, you see).

Jem also demonstrated part of the song that she sang for her performing arts course, which was so utterly brilliant that I gave her a round of applause and a hug for it. She's a fab singer, she really is. =D

*Pout* Why can't I sing? Why do I have to sound like a cat in the process of having a spanner wedged up its backside? =D

*Sigh* I love college holidays....

I'm back home now, watching Signs on DVD. I really need to start the housework now, so I'd best be off....
