A little while ago, I was on the bus. The driver had pulled into the car park at Asda, where there stood a few people waiting for a bus to take them to the town centre. A couple of rather rough-looking blokes were among them.
These two men wandered up to the bus, and the tall one asked the driver if the bus was going directly to the town centre, or something along those lines.
When the bus driver replied "No", the tall bloke walked away with a look of extreme disgust on his face, and the short one came storming up to the door and began hurling abuse in the driver's direction! Yes, hurling abuse. He even engaged in the childish practise of chanting some sort of immature song to try and piss the driver off. It was a horrifically bad attempt to look "hard" and "clever", and, obviously, it failed to work.
I just sat there, truly appauled. Yes, I know that it's always frustrating when you can't catch the bus you want, and, yes, the bus driver may have come across as the moody type, but for fuck's sake. You don't start screaming abuse and act like a six-year-old, for crying out loud.
Some people are so fucking rude. Argh.
