So, on Friday night, I slept over Euan's again. =D
On Saturday, Euan had an interview at a Dulux centre, so we got up nice and early so his parents could drop us off at the trading estate.
After the interview had finished (it only took about quarter of an hour), we walked to Safeways, before meeting his parents again and getting dropped off in the town centre.
Euan bought a couple of Playstation 2 games, I bought two CD singles: P J Harvey's The Letter (yes, I am planning on getting her new album, but I bought the single for the B-sides, mainly) and VS's Call U Sexy.
Shortly after, we went to the bus stop, only to discover that the bus had, in fact, been cancelled, and the next bus wasn't due for another couple of hours. >< This pissed me right off, considering I was extremely hot and sweaty due to the hideous weather we've been having recently (too much heat, damn it!), my head was pounding (again, probably due to the heat), and I had an inexplicable pain in my foot.
So, to pass time, we purchased some food, before walking to Ninesprings to consume it. On our way into the aformentioned location, we had a rather amusing encounter with a group of about five children who looked as though they were between the ages of nine and thirteen. They were unsupervised, which I found vastly annoying, but, anyway - Euan and I were walking along, holding hands like we usually do, and, as we passed the kids, one of them looked in our direction and exclaimed, in a surprised and loud manner: "Look! Lesbians!".
Holy cow, I know Euan has long hair, but that's just taking the biscuit. X-D Nevertheless, the children were vastly shocked and a teensy bit hysterical when Euan retorted with laughter and "I'm a guy!".
In an amusing coincidence, we ran into the same kids again when emerging from Ninesprings. *Chortle* Fun, fun, fun.
We eventually caught a bus back to Euan's, where we proceeded to watch the Farscape episode Back And Back And Back To The Future and play on Tomb Raider. Dad collected me at about 7:00 pm, as he was driving Alice to a party at Sherbourne Castle.
Today, it was yet another joyous(!) day of working my socks off at the hotel of doom.
Actually, it wasn't nearly as bad as it was last week. Of course, I wasn't exactly thrilled to be sharing a staff room with the workmates from the bowels of Hell, but, eh, at least it wasn't as bad as last week.
I had to move one bloke's stuff from one room to another, a task I didn't particularly enjoy. I am very apprehensive about handling the personal belongings of the guests - it makes me feel like I'm invading their personal space.
One thing that amused me greatly, however, was the fact that, at lunchtime, I only had two rooms left to clean - and the other girls had fifteen. X-D Who's slow-working now, morons? *Cackles in a vindictive manner*
