It had been a year, which was hard to believe. Suki had been in this place for a whole year now, and so many tings have changed. She'd grown, made friends, lost even more, and experienced things that she never thought she would, but there was one thing that never changed: Sokka. Throughout her time in Adstring Sokka has been the one thing that was always there. Sure, they fought, and their relationship hit some rough patches, but there was never a time when she didn't care about him. To put it simply, she loved him. There were times when she thought she didn't, but she did. She couldn't help it.
The fact Suki had been there for a year wasn't even fazing her. With everything that happened there, she felt like she had been there for so much longer than she really had been. The events that took their toll on her felt like they lasted a month, not a week, so keeping track became difficult. But she did feel like there was something about this date that was important. It was times like this that she really wished she keep better track of everything in this place.
Now, Suki was in the house her and Sokka shared. She's been back in their house for about three months now, finally feeling alright with leaving Yoko. It was still dark outside, but Suki was up, making breakfast for the two of them. Nothing fancy, but something to eat. She was still kinda tired, but she wanted to make sure that Sokka had it when he got up. Domestic life wasn't really her thing, but she did like living with Sokka. Maybe it could be something she could get used to. Not yet, but in the future. And hopefully, it's be a future with Sokka.
