Words: 250
Summary: CU. Kagome is sick of it and Sango makes an observation.
Dislocation. This could only lead to dislocation, probably of both her arms thanks to their brute strength and complete obliviousness to their surroundings when fighting.
Headache. If she was unlucky then maybe even a migraine. It wasn’t just because of their inane bickering, the constant tugging on her arms was making her head loll first to one side and then to the other. It was kind of nauseating too, but, thanks to years of blood and gore, she’d a pretty unshakable stomach.
Why am I always in the middle? She mourned as she was yanked to the left; I wish they’d just invest in a rope and play tug-of-war normally.
Miroku and Sango, watching rather unhelpfully, seemed to be debating the winner.
“I know!” Miroku suggested, rubbing his hands together mischievously, “why don’t we cut Kagome-sama in half? Then you’ll both have her!”
Kagome choked in outraged surprise at that, shooting Miroku a look that softened when she realised that her arms were now back in her own possession.
Inuyasha rolled his eyes. “Baka,” he scoffed.
Kouga sniffed derisively. “Yeah, not even Kagome can do that.”
Miroku grinned toothily. “I know.”
Inuyasha narrowed his eyes warily. “So why’d you suggest it?”
“So Kagome-sama could make her escape, of course,” Miroku supplied gleefully, “Neither of you will ever be with her if you can’t at least keep track of her.”
But they weren’t listening, already blundering through the forest in search of the wayward Miko.
“Listening might help too,” Sango opined.
