Been a while since I last updated. And lots has happened. Our flat got broken into and one poor girl (Hannah) had her laptop/ ipod stolen only a week after her phone got nicked in the LCR. Ground floor flats = sucky. My Chrislefer came and visited me and it was awesome whilst it lasted and horrible as soon as he had to go. I signed a petition to get a rebate on my rent because of the construction noise. I dressed up like a pirate(was really fun... until we went to the actual event which was shite). Have worked, attended lectures and seminars and enjoyed them reasonably well. Am now in state of panic over how the due dates on my first essays are getting closer and yet they're not being understood, let alone written.
And I'm ill. I seem to have got round two of fresher's flu, and this time it hates me. I actually don't remember when I last felt this unwell (yay crying down the phone to mother at 2.30am!) and I'm just not impressed. I missed my first lecture today, and I'm probably going to miss a couple of seminars tomorrow. The thing is: I'm due to go home this weekend (and the weekend starts tomorrow afternoon for me) but I'm thinking quite seriously about just heading over to Norwich station and trying to get a ticket back to London today. Even though no-one is actually at home at the moment (my mums at a conference) I'm just wildly tempted by the idea of my own bed, A DISHWASHER, infinite (or what feels like infinite) food supplies and just ease. I do love uni a lot of the time, when you're ill its not the easiest place to be. And as I was going to head back anyway, seems like its not so bad to just do it, esp as I have my mums blessing.
Meh. So why do I feel like a failure?
Being an adult and having to make decisions SUCKS.
