Yukikaze, Shot Down...

Today i cheated death. I could have died this morning and it all started from my damn alarm. I had to go to work this morning at 9. I usually set my alarm to go off 2 hours before the time im supposed to get up. For some reason, my alarm did not go off... some of the other devices in my house were flashing power failure so im guessing the power must have went out during the night. I woke up at 9:18 and i start flipping out. I try to get through to Apple but the phones dont turn on until 11 am on sunday, so i said screw it and just hauled ass getting ready. I left around 10 and walked out to my car, it was raining pretty good at the time. I get on 275 and drive 70-mph. As i get up to 8 mile on 275, i start to merge over to the far left lane and the back end of my car begins to fish tail violently back and forth. Once my tires regained friction on the road, I shot off in the direction of the rail guards. My car begins to turn slightly and the right front end slams into the rail causing me to spin in a 360. My airbags deploy the instant i slammed into the rail. I must have spun 2 or 3 times before coming to a complete stop. My car, not moving and airbags deployed, is now taking up the two far left lanes with my side facing traffic. My first thought was "get the fuck out of the car now!!!!". I get out and stumble over to the side of the road. i wanted to get as far away as possible because i wasn't sure if my car was going to explode or not. To the left of me i notice that there is a city worker with that orange truck and yellow light flashing. I start walking towards him hoping that he could help me. Before i could even talk to the guy, he hangs up off of his phone and tells me he called the state police to come and help. I shake his hand and tell him thanks and start walking back to my car. I then call my mom to come pick me up and she starts flipping out. I hang up with her and I notice my bumper on the side of the road a good 20 yards away from my car. As i get closer to my car, a man comes walking up to me from the opposite direction that im walking. He asks if im alright and explains that he saw the whole thing while he was driving near me. He wasn't sure if i might have hit him, so we walked up to his car to see if there was anything wrong. On the way to his car, we were kind of making jokes about the whole thing. We were both saying it was something right out of an action movie or something. Then he asked was it like slow-motion when it happened? I told him "no, it was like a bad ride that i couldn't get off." We check out his car and everything was fine, he shakes my hand and tells me good luck and takes off. Walking back in the rain towards the direction of my car, i see my mom running. She runs up to me crying and hugs me. The state police officer pulls up, asks what happened and asks for my license and registration. He sits in his car for a while and comes out and approaches us with the word on whats going to happen. Obviously they have to tow my car but, he also told us that there is an engineering problem with the road where i had my accident. He explained that there is a slight indentation on that curve that collects water when it rains. He said that i must have been hydroplaning on an inch to an inch and a half of water. He told me that im lucky to be alive. He gives back my stuff, gives me a police report card, no points, no nothing and tells me to go to the hospital. My mom drives me to St. Marrys Hospital where they know me from over the summer. And my dad meets us up there as well... To make a long story boring.... they do a bunch of tests on me, X-rays the whole thing and they find nothing wrong with me. I show them the pictures of my car and they all said that im really lucky to be alive and in one piece. They told me not too many people come out golden like you. When they told me this, i started thinking about every damn thing that has ever happened to me.... ive never been seriously hurt, no pain, or much of anything.... maybe a few little patch ups here and there, but damn.... im like the highlander or something (lol). Now i just dont know whats going to happen the the Yukikaze (my car). Look at the link below...
