Sungmin was not liking this one bit. He thought he was over this that time Kyuhyun apologized and assured him that he was the only one he'll ever love. He didn't even bat an eyelash when he saw Kyuhyun's message for Yi Xiao on We Got Married. Never mind that Kyuhyun never told him that he wouldn't make him cry ever again; even if the younger did that to him every time he made a prank on him on Fridays. Neither did he tell him to always think of him - the brat probably knew that he was already on Sungmin's mind 24/7 no matter what - nor told him that he will wait for him even if he does it every night. It might have been unwillingly though. The maknae would have to wait for him anyway, since they shared the same room. It was not because he was worried if he had arrived safely or something.

Oh how he wanted for himself to be at the receiving end of that video message. But Sungmin had long since accepted that Kyuhyun and him would never have the luxury of something as simple as the privilege to do a public display of affection. Aside from the fact that Korea was a fairly conservative country, gay couples do not really receive much acceptance all over the world either. He knew they had fans who wanted them to get married. The blatant display of KyuMin placards in every concert has shown him that much. Then again, he and Kyuhyun had always been more reserved than the EunHae couple who would shamelessly grope each other on stage, and go as far as dry humping each other on the show.

Sungmin hated it so much. It isn't only because he was jealous that they could do PDA and not receive a single lash back in return, but it is also due to the lack of sleep they get after the concert when Eunhyuk and Donghae got so frustrated with all the foreplay on stage and ended up having less-than-silent sexcapades well into the night. Hotel room walls were never thick enough for the EunHae couple. That's a fact.

The thing was, Sungmin was not really prepared for what happened at all. He thought Yi Xiao was already a closed book in his and Kyuhyun's relationship. Apparently, fate thought otherwise. And what the hell was Kyuhyun thinking, inviting that girl to the concert, their concert!? It is not like he needed to do fan service lest their "couple" becomes a regular on that wretched show. We Got Married's about to be cancelled anyway. And really? To the point of taking a selca with her?

Sungmin scrunched up his nose in frustration. He was mildly thankful when Kyuhyun chose ELF over Yi Xiao when he was asked who was prettier. Then again, the brat might've just said that to appease the fans. After all, he did not say Sungmin is prettier or something. His heart shattered even more when Kyuhyun had said that he wanted to date Yi Xiao in real life. He could not blame himself though. Hearing your boyfriend oh-so-blatantly announce to the world that he wanted to be in a relationship with someone who is not you was devastating, to say the least.

He took his phone out instead, intent on drowning his miseries in a game of Temple Run. He had already changed out of his stage clothes and was casually lounging on the sofa of the dressing room he shared with Donghae, Eunhyuk, and unfortunately, Kyuhyun. Well, Sungmin would have found it fortunate if it was earlier, when Kyuhyun had not said all those things yet. But now, he wasn't so sure. Speaking of the devil, he wondered where ever that cheater boyfriend of his went. He vaguely remembered seeing him and Yi Xiao take a picture together on the hallway, and he just breezed through them before the remaining patience in him ran out. He heard Kyuhyun's voice call him from a distance but he wasn't listening - the sound of his breaking heart more audible over mere decibels.

Just then, the doorknob rattled and the opening of the door soon followed - only to reveal the man who had been troubling Sungmin for the half past hour or so. Sungmin pretended not to notice and continued to tap on the screen of his iPhone, never mind that his character had already fallen dead when the maknae's arrival shocked the hell out of him. He heard the door close and the click of the lock. He was about to question the younger as to why he locked the door when Eunhyuk and Donghae could be coming soon, but failed to continue when he suddenly felt the other's wet tongue against his neck, lapping his supple flesh as he snaked his arms around his waist from the side.

Sungmin would've succumbed to his lover's ministrations, if it was any other given time. But now was not any other time. He was mad and not even Kyuhyun's skillful tongue was going to make his anger go away. If Kyuhyun wanted forgiveness, he would have to try better than that. He, of all people, should have known that Sungmin wasn't easy.

With renewed conviction, he pushed Kyuhyun's head away and transferred to the love seat across the sofa, picking up the innocent duck head plushie on it and scrutinizing it with feigned interest. He put it above his head and fastened it over his chin with the velcro lock, not minding the way Kyuhyun seemed to be frozen still on the couch where he suddenly left him.

Sungmin had always thought that silence was the best weapon against people. When you shout at people, it showed that you hate them. Hate was still an emotion. But if you ignored someone, that would show indifference. Indifference hurt more - since it gave the impression of worthlessness for a person - the feeling that you are not even worthy to be hated on. Call him mean but that was the feeling Sungmin wanted Kyuhyun to feel. He was never a vengeful person, but he had reached his limit. Besides, with the words Kyuhyun had just said, he was already being indifferent. How insensitive could he be in saying things like that in front of his very own boyfriend? Yep, the plushie definitely deserved more love than Kyuhyun right now.

Kyuhyun looked hurt, his eyes growing impossibly round as he watched his boyrfriend prefer the stupid duck over him. Sungmin raised the phone he was still holding up and started to take pictures of himself, trying his hardest to put on a joyful expression on his face, frowning when he noticed that his eyes seemed to be sad-looking.Then again, he was sad. His heart felt like jumping out of his chest from the pain, yet he forced himself to stay calm and proceeded to take a few more shots. He knew he would be crying the moment he uttered a word, so he figured silence was the best way to go.

Sungmin's phone was yanked out of his hand all of a sudden, and his vision was assaulted by the maknae's face as the younger kneeled in between his legs, looking up at him pleadingly. He could see Kyuhyun's pores from the proximity but he did not budge. He was intent on showing the younger who the boss was. He was done being nice.

"Give me my phone back, Kyuhyun," Sungmin muttered coldly, not breaking the eye contact between them.

Sungmin mentally congratulated himself when he saw the look of utter disbelief in Kyuhyun's face. The maknae's mouth gaped wide open, and Sungmin took the opportunity to retrieve his phone from Kyuhyun's hand. He leaned back on his seat and continued from where he left of, trying new poses every now and then. After a full five minutes, Kyuhyun still had not budged from his position between Sungmin's legs and the elder was starting to feel cramps. He turned his gaze back up to ask Kyuhyun to back off, only to falter when he saw that the maknae had tears freely flowing from his eyes.

Out of instinct, Sungmin reached up to wipe Kyuhyun's tears away. The latter let go of the last of his self-restraint and leaned into the touch as he sobbed some more. Kyuhyun hugged Sungmin's waist tightly, as if he didn't want to let go. Sungmin returned the hug and kissed the top of Kyuhyun's head, inhaling the sweet scent of vanilla that emanated from Kyuhyun's hair.

When Kyuhyun had calmed down enough, Sungmin withdrew from the hug by pushing Kyuhyun off with both hands on either of Kyuhyun's shoulders, chuckling when the younger refused to let go. After pecking the younger's lips as reassurance, Kyuhyun finally let go and settled beside Sungmin, the both of them squeezing in the love seat and squirming as they looked for a comfortable position.

"We don't fit anymore," Sungmin muttered nonchalantly, only to be shocked when Kyuhyun stopped his movements altogether.

He turned his attention to the younger, only to frown when Kyuhyun's eyes were glazed with tears once again.

"Hey Kyu? What's wrong?" Sungmin asked worriedly.

"How can you say that?" Kyuhyun said in an accusing manner, his voice quivering.

"Say what?" Sungmin turned his head to the side, wondering if Kyuhyun was pissed that he just indirectly called him fat.

"That we don't fit anymore! How could you!?" Kyuhyun accused, a lone tear escaping his eyes.

"Jeez, what's wrong with you!? You could've just told me you had issues with your weight or something. I didn't know you'd take it that way!" Sungmin crossed his arms and stood up suddenly, crossing his arms in front of his chest as he faced the younger who looked as if he was constipated.

"Oh.... Oh," Kyuhyun muttered, his jaw hanging open.

"I'm just gonna sit on the couch, no need to be so grumpy," Sungmin huffed, taken aback when Kyuhyun pulled him all of a sudden so that he ended up straddling the younger.

"Don't you ever say that again. You can call me fat, pudgy, stout, and even a pig, but don't you ever say that we don't fit anymore. Because believe me Lee Sungmin, I will do whatever it takes to prove you wrong. Even if it means bearing your weight for hours on end. And you're heavy, mind you," Kyuhyun breathed, eyes trained on Sungmin's.

"Ya! It's not my fault you overthink things Mister Cho. I meant what I said in a literal way. And you've gotta admit, it's your fault we don't fit anymore. I mean, I've always been chubby but your weight gain is just unbelievable!"

"You're the one who's been feeding me non-stop!" Kyuhyun muttered indignantly, a pout forming on his face.

"I didn't tell you to eat everything though," Sungmin teased, poking Kyuhyun's belly with his forefinger.

They ended up in a tickle fight, Sungmin somehow ending up below Kyuhyun as the younger assaulted him mercilessly. The elder was not able to do anything else but to squeal everytime Kyuhyun delivered another jab to his sides. Exhaustion finally settled in on both of them; Kyuhyun gradually stopped tickling Sungmin and simply stared at his lover's eyes as they panted, catching their breaths which mingled with each other's.

"Why were you being so difficult, by the way?" Kyuhyun interrupted the silence when they had finally calmed down, staring curiously at his hyung.

"I - It was nothing. Just forget it," Sungmin replied, cheeks turning beet red at suddenly being put on the spot.

"That was not nothing, Minimi. Tell me so I can fix it. Whatever I did, I won't do it again," Kyuhyun persevered, coaxing Sungmin to speak up by nudging Sungmin's nose with his, finding the way Sungmin scrunched his nose at the contact, endearing.

"I - I was jealous of Yi Xiao. Don't make fun," Sungmin closed his eyes in embarrassment, waiting for Kyuhyun to laugh at him like he always did when Sungmin said something ridiculous.

Kyuhyun, however, didn't feel like laughing at all. If any, he felt touched. People say that it was too bothersome when their lovers were jealous all the time, but Kyuhyun thought otherwise. It only showed that Sungmin loved him immensely for him to be jealous like that. And Kyuhyun appreciated it, really.

"Jealousy is not a sin, Min. It actually makes me feel good, knowing that you do care for me," Kyuhyun grinned, pecking Sungmin's cheek.

"How can you even think that I don't!?" Sungmin groaned, meeting Kyuhyun's eyes with an incredulous glare.

"I do. It's just that, when people are with someone for so long, we tend to forget telling our lovers how much we love them. We forego the words, thinking that it doesn't matter anymore, when sometimes, those words mean everything," Kyuhyun explained patiently, as if talking to a five-year-old child. Sungmin did look like a five-year-old, but anyway.

"Woah. I love you so much, but please don't say such cheesy things like that, Kyu. You're seriously creeping me out!" Sungmin giggled when Kyuhyun pinched his cheeks for teasing the younger.

Once the laughter has died down, both ended up staring at each other's orbs once again. The intensity of their love sent a current through the mere gaze. Sungmin closed his eyes as Kyuhyun edged in closer - the look of tenderness and love suddenly replacing the previous mischievous smirk he had on his pale face. It was a chaste kiss - a mere touching of lips on lips, not like the usual desperate ones they usually shared in the confines of their very own room and the occasional escapades on the deserted corridors of broadcasting companies during breaks. Yet the warmth it brought them was nothing short of wonderful. It was exceptional, even, knowing that their bond was something more than mere carnal need. It was a bond only the two of them shared - the bond of love.
