My grandmother passed away early this afternoon. We are headed to Georgia tomorrow morning.

My mother called me this evening. Grandma isn't any worse or better. She actually did respond when someone said her name by opening her eyes, but they didn't open very far and she didn't really focus on anything. She's not eating and the only nutrients she's been getting have been through IVs. They think her organs are finally just shutting ( Read more... )

My grandmother is in the hospital after having another stroke. The ladies at the assisted living place went to wake her up and she was barely responsive. They sent her to Emory Hospital in Atlanta. She's doing as well as can be expected, but Mom and my aunt are talking about putting her in hospice care. This makes sense because she has ( Read more... )
