Garden District is closed, and I'd love to write some meaningful reflections, but at the moment I'm too buried in anguish to bother.

I am really, really sick of the records office screwing me over. I need to take the directing classes next year (as in need to, as in it's technically not required to take it next year but I will be a complete fool if I put it off until junior year), but they have English 101 as a prerequisite. And because the records office has decided to ignore my transferred credits for over two months and have not yet officially listed me as having the English 101 credits, I'm not going to be able to take the class. (There's one spot left, and I've been hounding the records office for five days to get them to process my credits. They haven't done it yet, and chances are they won't before the class fills up.)

And yes, I know, this is standard, this is what they do to everyone. But when you have professors breathing down your neck saying, "It would be very beneficial for you to take directing next year," with that just dripping subtext, but you can't register because the records office has decided it's okay to let your credits sit around doing nothing for two months and then blame you when you haven't done your English 101 - well. You know how it feels.
