Not bad at all....

Tuesday night I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like my back muscles had swollen to 5 times their size. I had to take a little painkiller to get back to sleep. I've really worked hard the couple days and it shows - I've been busting through plateaus left and right. My back is noticeably bigger.

Yesterday though I was wrecked. Normally it's a rest day, but since I'm going to the doctor today I wanted to work out. Like a big dummy I've been forgetting to take my fish oil at night. Sounds yecchy I know, but it's been proven to be anabolic, lipolytic, and has anti-inflammatory propertes. Surprisingly (or not!) today I have zero pain. Plus, it's got lemon and rosemary in the oil, which completely camoflages the taste. It's actualy kinda yummy.

So I made yesterday a fun day in the gym. I didn't count sets, I didn't count reps, I just did what felt good and did exercises I don't often do. It was nice to relax, zone out, and lift. Exercises were:

calf press
close-grip bench
upright bench
bent-over dumbbell reverse flys
shrugs
skullcrushers
lateral dumbbell raises
