this random number generator the maximum and generate two numbers.
- Ramble about how the corresponding pairing/partnership would (or, indeed, wouldn't) work. Perhaps write a snippet/one-sentence fic for it if you're feeling brave.

- 10 and 19 (Elizabeth Bennet and Eros)
Well, Eros is mischievous; he’d probably make her laugh. However, she’d waste no time in pointing out the absurdity of living with an invisible husband. And she’d refuse to back down to Aphrodite just like she did with Lady Catherine.
- 2 and 6 (Draco Malfoy and Belle)
Belle would probably react to Draco the same way that she reacted to Gaston and the Beast. She’d be polite, but she wouldn’t let him get away with his childish, racist nonsense. If he eventually did get over his prejudice against her for being non-magical, maybe Draco would slowly realize that Belle would be invaluable as a friend, since she’s both kind and firm. She’d definitely be a great support during his time of need in HBP.
- 21 and 9 (Carmilla/Mircalla Karnstein and Hsi Wu)
Nope, Carmilla’s a lesbian, so she wouldn’t care for Hsi Wu, even if she’s a vampire and he’s a bat-like demon. (Well, okay, there was that one relationship that she had with a guy when she was still human, so maybe she's technically bisexual, but after she became a vampire, she only targeted women.) However, both of them could spend time together talking about those frustrating mortals known as Laura and Jade. ;)
- 3 and 20 (Darth Vader and Psyche)
Psyche would probably be frightened of Vader at first, but might soften to him once she got to know him and understand him. Her kindness, loyalty, and perseverance could mean a lot to him, although her curiosity might wear on his nerves. Although perhaps her royal status and the beginning letter of her name might trigger memories of Padmé, which might be too upsetting for Vader.
- 10 and 1 (Elizabeth Bennet and Tom Riddle)
Elizabeth might be taken in by Tom at first, since she was taken in by Wickham at the beginning. However, she’d probably see through Tom eventually. How he’d react is anyone’s guess. But he might enjoy having someone with whom he could verbally spar as well as discuss books.
- 3 and 14 (Darth Vader and Yami no Malik Ishtar)
…This would not go well, I can tell you that much. It’s not even the fact that Vader is straight; it’s that they’d be trying to kill each other for most of the time. The only thing that they’d probably agree on was the issue of them trying to distance themselves from their other selves. In Vader’s case, it’s Anakin Skywalker; in Yami no Malik’s case, it’s Malik.
- 4 and 18 (Luke Skywalker and Medea)
Luke would be terrified of her. This is a woman who, in Euripides’ version, killed her own children. She’d make him profoundly grateful that his own parent didn’t stoop that low. I think that Medea would appreciate that Luke was honest and kind (unlike her unfaithful jerk of a husband, Jason), but at the same time might take advantage of him for it if he stood in the way of what she wanted. Also, her dominant personality would probably overpower him.
- 1 and 11 (Tom Riddle and Fitzwilliam Darcy)
For one thing, Mr. Darcy’s not homosexual. For another, Mr. Darcy would be disgusted by Tom’s manipulative behavior and even liken him to the deceitful George Wickham. Tom may be charming and persuasive, but Fitzwilliam’s already dealt with such a person in his life and, like Elizabeth, would probably see through him at some point.
- 18 and 3 (Medea and Darth Vader)
Oh, dear Lord. Let’s see, if the two met after the rise of the Empire, Medea would probably be Darth Vader’s powerful right-hand (wo)man. Or, if she wanted to rule the Empire herself, Palpatine would probably try to pit her against Vader and she’d try every trick imaginable to fulfill her ambition and crush them both. But if Medea was in Padmé’s place during Anakin’s conversion to the Dark Side, forget it. You know how the whole Mustafar scene would have gone down? I’ll tell you; Medea would have been railing at Anakin/Vader for being such a moron, refusing to put up with his nonsense, and dragging him back to her ship.
- 19 and 1 (Eros and Tom Riddle)
Tom would be envious of Eros’ immortality and Eros would be repulsed by the idea that someone could live without love. Hence, he’d decide to fix the problem by trying to shoot Tom with one of his arrows while Tom would try to avoid being hit, cursing Eros all the way.
