Nope, not a typo!
In case you're not aware, I happen to like frogs and lizards. I don't have any as pets, but lizards provide me with enjoyment. I like seeing them sneak around, and I think they're just generally cool animals.
Yesterday, I was walking in my kitchen and noticed something on my kitchen floor. At first I thought it might have been a bird feather that had gotten wet and stuck in a shape, but it wasn't. It was a tiny dead and flat lizard. It was so remarkable that I had to get my digital camera out and take photographs. I wasn't sure where it came from, but it was neat!
Today I am cleaning out the kitchen sink getting ready to wash the dishes and I find one of the same type lizards, but this one is alive!
It was so neat, so again I get out the digital camera. Being a bit smarter this time, I put an object beside it to give you an idea of how tiny this animal is.
It amazes me how perfectly formed it is while being so small.
After the photo fun was finished, I helped it out of the sink where it hid behind the hand soap for a while before sneaking off to the hidden lizard lair no worse for the wear.
PS Using bargain basement dish soap is a bad idea. I should have just paid full price and gotten my regular brand. This one is not worth the value saved. Yuck.
