So I think I'm going to pop on here every few weeks to respond to a meme (which I never ever used to do) and give random bits of life data and maybe a word or two.
First off, the only Scrabble I've played in the past few weeks was 3 games against Dave Turissini on Saturday. The first game was probably the mpst lopsided game I have been a part of since I've started playing Scrabble. Dave drew JQXZSSSS?? and synergy to post a 570-something (including a 3x3 late [when I was trying to keep things open] of GILLNETS), while I had total shit all game and scored a whopping 208. 208! 208....Holy crap, I scored 208 points in a complete Scrabble game with all 100 tiles. 208. I really can't get over it. I think I only had one really bad play, which was trying the phoney EMULATER*, but other than that I didn't do much wrong besides terrible drawing. So anyway, moving on. The second game was another trouncing in which I lost by 200 or so, but I had a 370-ish so it wasn't so demoralizing. He got another 3x3 in the second game. In our third game, the tiles were much more even, and the game was much more fun on both sides. I actually drew a blank and won by maybe 50 points. Fun regardless.
