Borrowing trouble

I swear, I am the world's worst worrywart.

I've been sitting here, playing around online (admittedly, while I should be cleaning), investigating where I might buy furniture when I move to England, and then I thought:

Hee. It's funny how you kind of skip over the most obvious option and go straight to panicking.

As for pots and pans and stuff: is there Ikea in the UK? Because that stuff is dirt cheap at Ikeas here, so it would probably be just plain cheap in the English equivalent.

Yeah, they have Ikea, and that's probably where I'd go--but I had to have my requisite panic attack first. Never fails. *G*

You should know that if you buy a bed out of Ikea you will then be tied to Ikea for everything bed related - their mattresses and/or duvets are Not Standard Size. ie You can't get sheets and duvet covers anywhere but Ikea. (NB: I haven't actually experienced this myself, but it came from a reliable source.)

It's very sad, because Ikea is awesome for so many thing. But they have Bed!Fail. :(
