Workout, cleaning, and other stuff.

Went to Curves this morning. CurvesSmart is still kicking my ass, but in a good way. I've got that sort of wobbly "You worked out!" feeling. I'm also using, for the first time, my new 2.2 liter water bottle, which looks something like this:

Though mine doesn't have the cap. But it's very handy! According to those who are supposedly In The Know, you're supposed to drink 2.2 liters of water a day (eight 8-ounce glasses). This way, it's easy to tell whether you've succeeded or not. Especially with my new on-faucet water filter, which I LOVE. No more excuses about not drinking water, when the good filtered stuff is literally the twist of a knob away.

I have a lot of cleaning that I need to do, though most of it is just de-cluttering. I need to change the litterbox, though, which is my absolute least favorite job in housework. I'd rather clean out the fridge than change the litterbox. (And that's another job I need to do, sigh.) Still, at least I'm already sweaty and grubby; I can go ahead and clean now, and then take a shower later. And since I found my copy of BBC Radio's Much Ado About Nothing, with David Tennant as Benedick, I have fun stuff to listen to as well. And once the house is clean, maybe I'll be able to write! God knows it's hard to write when your living room is such a mess. Or at least, it is for me.

Tomorrow, I'm going to church and then to a birthday brunch with souleswanderer, and then I'm going to go home and do NOTHING that I don't want to do. It's my birthday, dammit. I get a day off! And given that I've been working 10-hour days this week (while being paid for 7.5 hours), I think I deserve it, dammit.

(New rule for Lissa: when I feel depressed, I need to do some sort of exercise. I can't be depressed with all those endorphins.)

birthday, cleaning, weight loss, work, writing
