The smell of the morning air during dawn is a magnificent thing to wake up to.
It is one of his favorite times.
It is during this kind of moments when he can feel the real-essence of being alive. The morning dewdrops and the grassy-pungent smell of the soil always get into him. It makes him feel really good inside.
But, ever since they started to live together, all of his usual morning routines just vanished. Usually he would wake up early just for the reason of feeling his inner-self and appreciating life. But now, he only has one reason for waking up every morning. And it is just for the sole reason of seeing his whole world open his eyes.
Just like now…
Yabu Kota slowly opens his eyes.
The sun is still not out but the scent of morning is evident and it just made him smile wide.
Finally, it is morning and he can see his beloved’s beautiful, sleeping face again. It is such a wonderful thing for Kou. Being blessed to be able to wake up with the one he loves most is a wish came true. Because, with this kind of routine. It is as if he is seeing his life in the future - a life together with his one and only.
And with that thought, it just made the day more bright and complete for him.
“Rise and shine, Kei,” Yabu whispered lovingly before he gave the sleeping man beside him a kiss on the forehead, making the other stir and cuddle in closer to his chest.
Yabu tried to stifle his laugh. The other boy is just too adorable for his own good. No one can resist such a cute morning face. It is not Inoo-like, really - vulnerable and fragile, so not Inoo Kei. But, so it seems that the man here beside him is still a child at heart after all.
No matter how he acts maturely in front of others. This Inoo Kei beside him would always be this kind of person - a mature yet very child-like man. No one could change that.
“Come on, Kei. Wake-y, wake-y~” Yabu poked the other’s cheek and that only made the one in his arms cuddle in closer to him more, “Five more minutes… mommy…” and that, that’s the last straw. Yabu just laughed loud and clear, making the younger one in his arms open his eyes slightly and give the most adorable glare.
“…So early, Kou-chan…so noisy” Kei huffed and yawned, making Yabu laugh more.
“God, you are just too cute sometimes. You know that~” Yabu commented before he pulled the other closer to his face and tries to give the one he loves a morning kiss. But, the moment was stopped rather rudely by those pretty hands of Kei.
“Sheesh, too early Kou.” Kei mumbled as he pushed Yabu on the bed and straddled the older one’s waist, “Who’s too early again?” Yabu joked and that earned him a whack on the head, “You are too grumpy today.” Yabu pouted, while his eyes. It just stared at Kei’s morning face with a desperate, puppy-look.
Kei just giggled at the cute face and looked the other way. He just can’t resist Yabu’s demanding face. It’s too sexy.
Noticing that he is being ignored, Yabu whined like a certain someone that made the latter just burst into laughter. It’s just too epic. Yabu Kota whining like their little squirrel, Chinen Yuri, is such a sight to see. It’s too adorable.
“Greet me first before I comply.” Kei nuzzled his nose against the whining Yabu and that earned him those smiling eyes in return, “Good morning, Kei.” Yabu greeted and that made Kei smile, “Good morning to you too, Kou.” Kei followed before he leaned in and gave his Kou his morning kiss.
