Candyman - As recommended by quite a few, but originally suggested by
mark13 - I have not got one bad word to say about this. Absolutely amazing. The only real beef I have with it is why it took me so long to get round to seeing it. Remarkably, this film is nearly 20 years old (o_0) and you'd be forgiven for thinking it was made last year. Beautifully shot, moving soundtrack, intelligent story (and a little sad, yes?) and ingenious psychological sub-plot, making this so far the best film of this challenge I've seen, if not the scariest. Hence the high rating. Hell, even Virginia Madsen looked perfectly Monroe-esque, and had fantastic hair throughout. Top film, and one which I'll watch again.
9 / 10
* please note: No film is getting 10 / 10 there is only a few which could have got that and that's Event Horizon, and it's not going on the list. The Shining, same. And things like Eight Legged Freaks etc, which I ain't watching EVER.
