WARNINGS: REDOLENT WITH TYPOS AND FRAGMENTED FIC IDEAS!
Characters and such:
Main Characters:
-Jutatsu Gogaku:[a mysterious vessel of power with blue faintly glowing tattoos all over his body; one distinct mysterious character on the middle of his forehead] A somewhat sheltered young Japanese who is the youngest in a Rich Family that owns an International Trading Business; Export/Importing
-Locke: [Kitsune;; 4 tailed] An Orphan with Western Blood most evident in his Redhair, he is found by Master Gogaku wandering the streets as thief and pickpocket with no memory of his past asides from the one year he's spent on the streets
-Karl vohn Quinn: [A Borgheist (might change yet later)] A German, heir and ambassador to the great "Vohn Quinn Ironworks" factory; famous in Germany for Quality Ironworks. He goes to Japan to visit his In-laws (his younger brother Mikhael married into Gogaku's family) as well as negotiate an exclusive distribution rights contract with the Gogaku Family to retail thier Ironworks in Japan.
-John Clarence Urvemille :[Unicorn] An English Nobleman; Son of the Duke of Urvemille and Heir to the "Brittish-Indian Marine Shipping Company" who is then, sent to the Gogakus (meets and gets acquainted with Karl on the 2 week Boat ride from India where there is a BIMSC subsidiary) to negotiate trading rights.
-Mark Kaizer Teaint: [An English Hunting Beast; found in the old Medieval Story of "Sir Percival and the Holy Grail"] An American Sailor who is a crewmember of the BIMSC Ship Karl and John is on. On the Voyage, he slowly but surely falls in love with John on first sight. On landing, he illegally strands himself in Japan in order to follow his love. Unable to find a decent job, due to his inability to speak good japanese, he is recruited into a notorious Bandit Gang.
Main Enemies: (WIP; might still change as ideas flow)
-Shinkarru Sumizome ;Dark Cynic <--meaning; Main Bad Guy; found Locke when he was four crying in the rain on a small bridge, adopts Locke, gives him his name "Locke" and makes him a personal body servant( a servant who only serves one person, dresses his Master in the mornings, and prepares all his Master's things personally). Looses Locke when there's a Family Coupe which splits up the Yakuza family and Locke gets hit on the back of the head and gets left amongst the chaos.
-Dylan Montgommery, a suave English assasin who has a very mild mannered harmless look but uses the most dangerous poisons to kill as an assasin. He is rumoured to be Shinkarru's Lover. It is believed Dylan and Shin met when Shin's Family was falling apart and Shin inherited Dylan's Loyalty from his Grandfather who died during the Coupe.
-Yoru ; He's a Horned Demonic Kitsune; He hangs around Shinkarru to keep himself entertained through the years. Its been said that, if he had a soul, Shinkarru's most likely his human more feeling reincarnation. He has 4 tails and is about 300 yrs old. He never mentions who gave him his last tail.
-Rui, a sexy hawt woman with deep violet hair and green eyes. She uses a long whip and a rapier. An agreesive minion who has very strong feeling about what she wants. Mostly she hangs around Shinkarru just for fun and as of yet, hasn't betrayed her reasons why she serves under Shinkaru.
Pertinent Information:
-This will happen during the Meiji Era *think Rurounin Kenshin because I'm most familiar with the history there); also because I can insert foreigners this way and that without suspicion
-Karl and John disembark from the British-India Marine Shipping Company boat (Route:India to Japan) with Mark being a crew member. (He isn't very prominent in the story as of yet.)
-Locke is trailing and pestering Jutatsu as usual (Father Jutatsu assigned for them to welcome thier esteemed Guests from Europe) and they take a trip to the docks to meet Karl, John and thier entourage
-They meet up.
-Introduction between characters (Jutatsu asks how his Sister is doing and Karl says that she's fine and his Younger Brother Mikhael is taking good care of her)
-After some more chit chat
-Jutatsu leads them back to the Gogaku Household after he checks their crates full of Trade goods which he then, with the help of a few paid dock hands, loads into a horse drawn wagon.
-They are welcomed into the Gogaku Home and have a brief dinner with the family. Momma Gogaku has recently come back from her long time away from Family taking care of the "Pearls" side business of hers in another Japanese province (dunno which yet)
-Bicker, talking, after dinnner Jutatsu leads them to their accomodations.
-Karl points out some interest in a night out of the town. Jutatsu points out a nearby a bar/inn (is there a proper term for this?) where International Sailors, and men from the Docks stay to drink and be entertained by Geisha Girls.
** Insert side fic of Geisha Girls dressing up John as one of them and him getting his buttocks pinched by a lecherous old Brit**
-Karl and John get back into the Gogaku Household, John is looking pouty and his hair is still in a bun and his face still has some rogue. Locke wakes up at the sounds of thier stumbling around the living room and gets them settled.
*scene cut to morning next day*
-Locke is painting on the front porch, its a lovely dewey morning and he looks at his art subjects which are the koi in the pond. Karl finds him there. They have a conversation about painting...and a little heart to heart talk about...whatever (at this time I dunno ^^; )
-Karl then expresses an interest of asking Locke to show him about town and makes an excuse of John still not speaking to him from Last Night's Debacle and that going to a Dockside bar isn't fully experiencing the Local Culture.
-Locke paints for a long while, silence ensues and Karl watches. After putting his finishing touches and slowly keeping his art things Locke takes Karl out to the town.
-Much enjoyment, banter, shopping and presonal get togetherness. They return to the Gogaku household to find teh place a mess. Father Gogaku is lying dead on the dinner room floor with a hysterically crying Mama Gogaku. Sister #2 is crying as well, her kimono torn and gashes on her hands and arms. (defensive wounds); there is a broken bokken beside her.
-Karl and Locke gasp, taking teh scene in and hesitant to ask what happen when John comes out from a room, a tatami door opens forcefully and the english nobleman is bruised, slashds with alot of short shallow sword marks..and there is a small sabre in his hand dripping with blood.
-They found out there had been an attack and that Jutatsu has been kidnapped by some anonymous brigands, the family isn't sure why he was taken since the Heir is Keisuke Gogaku who is the eldest son of the family and currently studying in America.
-They spend a entire days scouring as the Family mourns and the others heal from thier injuries. They also report the incident to the Shinsengumi (Police Faction of that time) but they were too impatient at the Beaurocratic Red tape getting them nowehere. They strived to seek Justice on thier own.
-Two days before the planned Burial of Father Gogaku, Locke hears a tip from one of his connections from when he was a street thief, that a Bandit Gang known as "insert kickass bandit gang name XD " somewhere along the mountain paths of "insert er...mountain path name", had taken a rich young noble as hostage. Thinking this is Juta, they go to investigate.
-Karl, with his weapons "Geri(a ninjato) and Freki(a saber)", John with his Pistol (he's a Trophy Sniper back in India), and Locke with his Red wood Mahogany Staff; they pounced on the Bandit's Hideout unannounced.
-Due to the element of surprise, the trio soon decimate the ranks of the Bandits and to thier utter suprise, at the Bandit's main hideout (a sad looking, decrepit wooden shack) they meet Mark, who upon seeing his beloved (John) willingly hands an unconscious and opiate drugged Jutatsu to the trio saying "I was tricked into joining the Bandits, I swear! I mean, its not like I have anywhere else to go in this country. I can barely speak a work of Japanese."
-After much convincing on Mark's part, and still alot of Skepticism from the Trio, the take Mark (bound and gagged) back to the House.
-They Question him earnestly once at the Gogaku residence and finds out that the Bandit Gang were hired by some mysterious person named "Shin" (aka Death in Japanese). Mark swears he doesn't know anymore than that and teh Bandits weren't told much either.
-The day of the funeral arrives, and a long Ceremony is held by Shinto Priests. (insert long ass ceremony stuff)
-During the time when the loved ones were to pay thier last respects to the body of Father Gogaku, Jutatsu (somewhat recovered from the kidnapping ordeal) is first to approach the open (er were there coffins in that age? O3o) coffin, praying to the Gods he extends a hand and touches his Father's Cold Chest as a last Goodbye.
-Cue mysterious white light, bright enough to hurt eyes quite well, at the point of contact between Juta's hands and his Father's Body. A second after the light a shockwave strong eough to bowl people over radiates from teh body and spreads throughout the city.
-Every temple, shrine, alter; be it big or small; gets destroyed. (all the paper protections are burned, alter stones and figures crack...etc).
-Thirty minuets later, everyone groans and starts to recover from teh shock.
-They soon find Jutatsu collapsed where he stood, his entire body a tracery of mysterious gently glowing blue tattoos. The most prominent one, a very distinct yet unknown character on the middle of his forehead.

-The effect of the shockwave somewhat distorts the field/time/space around the entire area (how big not sure yet) and selectively starts to release the hidden supernatural characteristics of people chosen.
-Shikarru is a well meaning Japanese who wants to become Emperor so he will have the power to Kick out the "Aliens" which are the Gaijins (aka Foreigners) from Japan
