on hitting the books (toliet)

So I've started classes -
today was day 2 which was dairy identification - we tasted:

9 unsalted butters
8 salted butters
2 margerines
shortening
lard

farmer's cheese
ricotta
mascarpone
clotted cream
evaporated milk
sweetened condensed milk
yogurt
sour cream
gruyere
cream cheese
creme fraiche

whole milk
1% milk
light cream
heavy cream
buttermilk
half and half

This for the girl who's lactose intolerant. Mind you we also eat all this crap in spoonfuls - not on bread or crackers. The difference between butters was especially surprising - I know that plugra is all hyped up but I thought it had a really wierd taste
