Walking the back bay beaches by  the salt marsh, I came upon this sponge orgy.  Watching them 'do their thang'  is as exciting as watching grass grow except grass smells a WHOLE lot better. LOL - ever smell one of these things?  Ever see Labrynth? Remember the Bog of Eternal Stench?  Then you KNOW how bad these things smell so don't EVER touch them ( Read more... )

Alright, I'll admit - this is a VERY strange title. Then again, look at the picture! It's a very strange example of fungi.

Hmmm, and WHY do they call it Fun-Guy when there are no fun guys around?

A sponge that bobbed but wasn't Bob.

An item porous but FAR from amorous.
