Focus Week. I'm doing a monologue from the (amazing) play Angels in America, portraying Heather, Joe's mom. The monologue is actually a lot of fun, a lot of things I can do with the character, she's a mormon (ooooooooh, what fun!) haha. As a whole, the show isn't looking great so far. The chorus numbers we're doing are "There's no business like show business" "My favorite Things" and... oh god, i forget the last one. No business like show business sounds pretty good, but I really wish we weren't doing my favorite things, 'tis so cliche... and it'd be a different story if it sounded good, and looked good. It tooks us about two hours to choreograph it! THAT'S INSANE. And it's the most simple choreography... but then, it's only the 2nd day, but then we really have 4 days to do this. I'm worried. Camille's singing "All that Jazz" and Chelsea's singing "As long as he needs me" Let's just say those girls have A LOT to live up to... Chita and Patti, uh oh.
