School starts tomorrow, wow, that's weird to say... er... type. I have high (ish) hopes for this year. My mom isn't taking me school shopping until Saturday, which kinda sucks balls, but whatever. You always find out that you didn't get something that you needed to get in class and you always have to make a saturday trip anyways, so i guess it's all for the best. I don't have many goals for this year, usually I say I'm going to be more organized but this year I'm just gonna let things happen. But I am going to try and get good grades because my dad said that the annual NYC trip depends on how well I do in school. I'm seriously going to spend an hour on drama every night, I'm putting my heart into it. If I want the marquee lights to dim for me when I die (oooooh, what a dream)... yesterday I forgot about my vocal lesson (EEK!) which sucked, because I really look forward to it because it's the only time I really just SING. I guess I'm looking forward to school a little bit, but I really don't want to start having to work with some of the people that I'm going to have to work with. A new kid is coming into drama, a boy. This may be the first drama class EVER where the boys outnumber the girls. I saw forbidden broadway with claire over the summer before we went to Rocky Horror Picture Show and I saw Ms. Laitta and I said something like "Yeah, school's gonna start and you're going to have our dreaded class" as a little joke and she said "Yeah.. this year should be... interesting" but whatever, I'm just going to do my work and not let her get to me. I didn't see Gavin at ALL over the summer so I'm so excited to see him tomorrow!!!

And I'm on the African American history bowl... i'm the only white girl on the team, hell yes!
