(no subject)
Ok, so I just had a shitty day, all for nothing. I got up at 5:30 in the morning, which is an unheard of hour for me. Went in to the dental school, and waited. Had to take a pregnancy test, despite my knowledge that I'm assuredly NOT pregnant. Almost passed out when they put in an IV, because apparently I have dangerously low blood pressure. FINALLY got to go to the OR, where they started to numb my mouth. What happened next? I start gagging. And then I throw up. Which means that they can't take out my wisdom teeth. So, I had to wait around for three more hours so that they could observe me, with a numb mouth for no reason. I hate having a numb mouth. It's like the least pleasant sensation in the world. And, several hours later? My jaw is still sore. And I'm tired. And grumpy. And wishing I had just stayed in DC yesterday when I reallllly wanted to. But! This means I can get back to school as early as Friday instead of "um, whenever I feel good enough to think about moving...hopefully by Monday"!
