a little too dark for the kiddies....

she waits behind the door, the metal touching her like ice burning blue. he stands on the other side trying to figure out if her words of promise are even true. he cant remeber the last time they held tight to one another, once he had pushed her away, and now he wonders if that is the reason behind her motives...
she knows that he is remembering the night he pushed her away. she laughs knowing that in his small mind he is finding that incident as the reasoning behind her ploy. so shallow is the mind of the one who is too dumb to ever really discover thier self. she laughs again, it pours from within her. she knows exactly how his mind will interpret her laughter: he will not hear it, he will asssume she is crying.
on the other side of the door he hears her begin to tear up, he knows it is only a matter of time before she will open the door and apologize. he expects the apology, for it only makes sense. she pulled him away from an evening that he he had planned for another. the second girl in line was beginning to take up all his time, he knew she did know about the other girls; smiling to himself he thinks of how smart he is for being so keen.
she shakes her head and knows that when she called him, he was with another. for the life of her she can not figure out why he pretends he is pulling a fast one on her. the nights he goes without calling, the times when he is far from where he should be, it doesnt take her too long to figure it all out. his lies are never too good either, he thinks he has her fooled, and this only infuriates her more. she pulls back the hammer, the click resounds in the empty hotle room.
he wishes he could think of something to say. maybe another time he would care more, but right now his mind fades to another good use for a hotel room........
"come tonight, i need you tonight."
"i'm busy" the girl laced around his lap looks up at the reciever, he pats her head, she smiles.
"this is important."
"it is always important."
"you have taken so much from me!"
"i gave you what you really wanted."
"just, come to me now, please."
he had thought that something good would wait for him there, now as he stood outside the locked door he realized that he was wasting his time. the girl had been hard, never easy, and he was not accostumed to her general sense of life. she constanlty spoke of wonder and light, when all he wanted was to get her alone.
he turns the door knobb in his hand, amazed at how well it reflects his image.
the door flies open, she stands witha smile on her face.
"you took so much from me."
the bang echoes down the halls. she steps over his broken frame and exits calmly. the smile on her face a smurk, the pupils of her eyes dialate.
she walks by his car in the parking lot, a fake blonde adjust her fake eyelashes in the passenger seat.
