You guys have the 3rd worst defensive record in Serie A (the truth hurts), but you weren't all half-bad yesterday. Congrats, Romanisti, for you have now moved into second place in the standings. In all fairness to Milan, Seedorf and Gila had a couple good chances.
But it just wasn't his night.
Roma were fairly exceptional in the first half and Dida was all kinds of busy.

He doesn't suck as much when he's fielded as a winger. Who would've thunk!
Though this shouldn't come as a surprise since he played this position in Lecce

Manci had an OK game. He was heavily marked by a certain Maldini, so.
Oh, Paolo.
But he played a crucial part in that Cici-Mirko assist. So that's... worth noting.
Speaking of Cici and Mirko, lots of hustle pics. They're my top two of the match.
And it's CICI TIME! I'm over the moon about Spal FINALLY starting him.
He was the only one hustling in the second half.

Panooch coming on for Cici late in 2H, after which he got booked less than a minute into
You know I hearts you Papa P., but 1) Cici is faster, 2) He creates assists, 3) He attacks more, and 4) You're vice-captain, which means when Fra isn't around, you wear the armband, not Daniele. Ergo, Cici over you any damn day. And this is me being objective.
And this is the part where I smother thee with teh Mirko
He's a bit slow though, tbh.
And he missed that sitter which Fra could've EASILY converted

To the Romanisti e Laziali: Rome Derby on Wednesday, 3:30 EST on RAI & FSC. I'll be posting some Derby della Capitale crack tomorrow (mostly Lazio jokes): not for the weak of heart & easily offended. You have been forewarned. Fun stuff though (if you're Giallorossa). But uh, if any of the Laziale in the comm have jokes about the Romanisti, by all means, post them. We're all about the entertainment here. The rivalry is part of the game, and we all have an open mind about it. That said, bring it on. Should be fun. :)
