Gila: I’d Rather Play For Less Money At Fiorentina Than With Milan

Fiorentina striker Alberto Gilardino believes leaving Milan for his adventure in Tuscany was worth it, even though he had to accept a massive pay cut.

The 2006 World Cup winner endured a tough spell at San Siro and he left the Rossoneri last year after the Viola paid €15 million to rescue him from his demise.

"I found such an extraordinary welcome in Florence, it really was fantastic," Gilardino told Max magazine. "I earn less, but it is well worth it." | Don't shoot the messenger

OK we get it. He likes to run. Any beauty shots? Face-on?

Thank you. I will take my seat now.

Bonus Napolitani en route to Reggio Calabria just because:

^Led by their new allenatore, The Don

Could Hamsik be the new face of Bikkemberk (his bag)? Coz Gio (Chiellini) used to be the brand's designated Serie A endorser -- along with Andreolli and Giuly-- but I think their contracts have expired now.
