After a UCL disappoinment, Juventus was back to business hosting Bologna
who beat Sampdoria 3-0 last week. ouch.

The game started with obligatory coach mingling

LOL @ optical illusion. When i first saw this pic, i was like "woah, Sinisa has ridiculously longgggg legs"

Due to Juve's MASSIVE injury list (Trezeguet, Amauri, Camo, Legro, Marchionni, Sissoko, De Ceglie, etc),
4 of Juventus Primavera babies, recently crown Viareggio Tourney Champion, graced the bench.

Chiellini leads the backline as usual and I think he did fairly well today

Hats off for never turning his aggro-meter down despite his bleeding nose :P

Maybe that's why Bologna offense team was pretty quiet.
Tapir's blood soaked Q-tip prolly scared the shit out of them XD

Chiellini's partner in crime in the middle is Mellberg

Flanked by Molinaro (in picture) & Grygera
The full backs did OK defensively and almost next to nothing offensively >=O

Unfortunately, Tiago, who did well against Chelsea, was all kinds of woe

He was rightfully replaced by Poulsen in the halftime

Marchisio, on the other hand, was awesome!
I think he has a good potential to be an all-around MF like DDR

Lippi said he'll leave Marchisio to Azzurrini until the end of U-21 championship, we'll see ;)

At the beginning it was a fair game. Bologna surprisingly came out attacking.
It took Bologna's shock goal in min 24 to wake Juve up

Di Vaio's lovely ball sent Ex-Laziale Muntarelli 1-1 with Buffon
Muntarelli didn't disappoint. He gave Bologna a surprise lead

"0-1 Btchz!!"

Oh, well

Thank goodness Juve had Giovinco to save the day!
Elf-ling graced the starting lineup thanks to Nedved's injury his brilliant display in midweek UCL game

(so tiny!)

And what a show fron Elf-ling!!

He seems to have no problem cutting through Bologna defense
and send beautiful crosses for ADP & Iaquita to waste

Plus, it was really fun just to watch him pulling all sorts of tricks and SICK touches

Granted, he still need to improve his finishing skills *wags finger*

and sometimes his decision making in front of goal mouth is quite frustrating.

Not to mention Elf-ling's zero defending ability
He had, like, 3 successful de-possession in the entire game.
and everytime he pulled it off, the fans loudly cheered him *clutches heart*

However, it's hard out there for ADP, well in the first half at least

Not only he missed an open header

but he also slow down and mess up the build up couple of times

Bite fists if you must, ADP, cuz we're frustrated too!

Good thing that ADP was all aggro & lively in the 2nd half. Way to go, capitano! XD

Way up front is Juve's only healthy option: Iaquinta.

Bologna defended like their lives depend on it in the first half

which makes Vinny's life a hell lot harder.

Plus, i think he was normally more like Amauri or Trezeguet support system,
all this might explain the suckage.

But what is unexplanable is his inability to stay on his feet.
C'mon, suck it up like a big boy, can you!?

I guess this pic pretty much summed up Juve's attacking situation in first half

I don't know what Ranieri did during the halftime but Juve came out firing in the 2nd half
And the goal came early, Giovinco's corner found Salihamidzic

who headed it home for Juventus only in min 48

Salihamidzic was fantastic. Scored one himself and involved in Juve's every other goal too. *worships*

Err Mr, you were a good today but only ADP could pull the tongue celebration off, kthxbi

In turn, Elf-ling got Iaquinta as a consolation prize for his assist XD

After Juve leveled up, it seems the solid Bologna defense was falling apart.
(They almost scored another goal if not for Gigi & Lady Luck's awesomeness but we're not gonna talk about it)

Giovinco netted a well deserved goal in min 71.
It looked like a mad sliced shot but even Elf-ling admitted it was a fluke *pinches him*
