Milanspam: Christ on a bike

Sep 22, 2008 17:04

What, AGAIN?

Milan 4 - 1 Lazio
Seedorf 8 (M), Zarate 25 (L), Zambrotta 35 (M), Pato 48 (M), Kaka 61 (M)
Stadio San Siro

Who'd've thought it. When push came to shove, we actually remembered how to play football. After these two victories, Carletto must be feeling a little more relaxed - although, if you believe Uncle Fester, he was never in any danger in the first place. *eyeroll*

Milan: Abbiati; Zambrotta, Maldini, Kaladze, Jankulovski; Gattuso (Emerson 78), Ambrosini, Seedorf (Flamini 64); Kaka; Pato (Ronaldinho 71), Borriello
Lazio: Carrizo; Lichtsteiner, Siviglia, Rozenhal, Kolarov; Brocchi (De Silvestri 79), Ledesma, Matuzalem (Meghni 68); Mauri (Foggia 62); Zarate, Pandev

OK, can we just get this out of the way now, at the beginning, and then I promise not to mention it again much? I. LOVE. THOSE. SOCKS. They are wonderful. I covet them something chronic.

[Abbiati likes them, as well.]

They had a different kind of effect on Ambro.

[Who had forgotten to put his false teeth in.]

Ahem. Shall we start on the goals? Because, you know, there were SO MANY OF THEM! *is still in shock*

First up was Clarence.

OHAI BROCCOLI! and your brilliant socks

Were your thighs that ... smooth when you were ours? Do Lazio oil themselves before games?

Clarence: I am the King of Cool. Bow down.

Clarence: Yeah, I said bow down, not lay down.

Anyway. With less than ten minutes on the clock, there was this.

Once he'd got his [super-cool] celebrations out of the way,

Note to Clarence: You are not Brazilian. Less of the dancing, plz.

He went in search of some loving.

But, he had a particular target in mind. No, Janku and your headpatting, it's not you.
[Although your invisible chair is kind of handy.]

It's him.

Awww.

Yeah, OK. When you're ready?

Carlo: Dude, you've totally saved my bacon.

Clarence: No problem. I share a room with Antonini on Wednesday, y/y?

We are a bunch of hardened cynics, we Milan fans. No sooner had the celebrations ended than we were opening a book on how long it would take for Lazio to equalise.
Kala: Can't ... quite... get ... there.

[The answer was seventeen minutes. I don't think anyone expected it to be as long as that.]

Mmmmmm, sooooooooooocks.

Rino: Oh, poo.

Ambro: Oh, poo.

Zarate: Oh, ... not poo.

Next on the scoresheet was Zambrotta. [Nice faces, dudes.]

He managed to overcome the twin handicaps of kicking himself on the eye

..and being dragged off under the arm of a rugged Eastern European

And got it in the net.

*is saying nothing about the lack of facial hair*

Ambro was very pleased.

Very pleased, indeed.
[Paolo, you wearing black underwear again? Thank you.]

And it developed into quite a love-in.

[These are for Conny. ♥]

Right, so there was stuff happening as well as goals.

Brainless was getting confused again.
Borriello: Um,don't I know you from somewhere?

Janku was doing his own, cool thing

[And respectfully suggesting the referee might like to make an appointment with an optician.]

Kala?

Was humping Pandev.

Yes. Rly.

And Rino was back.

[Although maybe he shouldn't have been. He hurts again, now. :(]

So. The second half.
'You're kicking the ball that way! SCORE MORE GOALS!'

Being a good boy, Alex was swift to oblige.

'I'll do it, Sir! Me! Me!'

'Ewww, yellow is so not your colour'

'Ick! Yellow person! Touching my skin!'

[No, doubters, he is not farting.]

[He is scoring.]

Scoring in more ways than one, I would say...

*smiles fondly*

Lookit Marco, bless him. Carting the Duck around like he's a scarf. *adores*

Ricky was a good boy, as well. Shit. Shouldn't've said that. Am now unable to get '18 and Life' out of my head.

At 61' [yes, you read that right, after the hour mark!] he did this:

[Don't worry, little Carrizo. Your BFF Muslera knows how that feels, he'll look after you.]

There was jubilation,

Leaping about a bit,

[I kinda prefer the aggro, myself.]

[I love how the Brainless One is there in all the celebratory pictures, beaming from ear to ear with pride. Love.]

Pointing in the general direction of That Chap Upstairs.

[See, there he is again!]

And big loving.

[He's not letting go, is he? *squishes*]

Ron came on for the last twenty minutes.

To give him time to practice his pointing

And swishing his Medusa!hair

Have I mentioned how much I like Lazio's socks?

Still not so much footballing, though.

[Although he was rather chuffed at this.]

'DID YOU SEE THAT PEOPLE? I TOUCHED THE BALL!'

'I KNOW!'

Anyway. 4-1. I'll have some of that, thank you very much.

'Woohoo! I've still got my job! For the next week, anyhow'

Next up is a trip to Reggina on Wednesday. Then, some game or other at the weekend, I can't really remember. *engages panic mode*

'ronaldinho', 'pato', 'borriello', 'seedorf', team: lazio, serie a, team: milan, 'brocchi', picspam, 'zambrotta', 'kaka'
