Sardinespam: Not quite as sucky as I'd feared

'OH SHIIIIIIT!'

Cagliari 0 - 1 Juventus
Amauri 39 (J)
Stadio Sant'Elia

I'm not a happy bunny. Alessandro Matri played the whole bloody game [one advantange Allegri has over Ballardini, who barely gave the kid a sniff of the pitch], and Acquafresca played the second half - and I can find a measly three photographs of them. THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. The game? They tried, bless them, they really tried. And on occasion they came REALLY CLOSE. It could have been so much worse. I feel pretty optimistic, though. They carry on like this, they may manage to not be dead last come May...

Cagliari: Marchetti; Pisano, Lopez, Bianco, Agostini; Fini (Jeda 62), Biondini, Parola (Lazzari 79); Cossu; Matri, Larrivey (Acquafresca 46)
Juventus: Buffon (Manninger 46); Salihamidzic, Mellberg, Chiellini, Molinaro; Marchionni, Sissoko (Tiago 59), Marchisio (De Ceglie 75), Nedved; Amauri, Iaquinta

Is Agostini really that tiny?

Bless his midget-y little heart.

Is Biondini really that ginger?

It seems he is.

[Still, bonus points for this, y/y? *wink*]

It seems no-one likes Pavel, much.

Cossu had a pop at him,

As did Pisano.

[Lopez was a bit more restrained, as befits the armband.]

Sissoko was none-too popular, either.

Although I have no images of it, Fini here got his handbag TOTALLY out.

Forehead-to-forehead shoving and all sorts. It was grand.

Jump, Bianco, jump!

Stomp, Parola, stomp!

*waves hi to newbie Lazzari*

Desperate times called for desperate measures.

Unfortunately, no matter how had Pisano sat on the opposition,

it proved ineffective.

As did Jeda's contortion,

And Larry's tummy-flash.

*le sigh*

[Although Lopez has lovely fresh armpits.]

OMG LOOK! IT'S THE ELUSIVE MATRI! [There has got to be something in the name. Messrs Nesta and Costacurta are allergic to cameras, also.]

I bet he'd look good on the dance floor.

ROBERT! EAT MORE FOOD! *cossets*

Um, there is no truth in the rumours that there are more pictures of Amauri here than there are Sardines. No. [It's a roughly 50-50 split. *grin*]

[See how Bianco just wants to stroke him?]

[I get that, too.]

Bianco: *gazes in awe*

Biondini: *gazes in awe*

Pisano and Parola: *gaze in awe* [Am I self-projecting here, you think?]

Pisano: *gets his head kicked in*

Pisano and Biondini: *try to catch some awesome with their backsides*

Even Captain Lopez was not immune.
Lopez: But soft, what light from yonder window breaks?

Lopez: I can has touch it?

Lopez: I CAN HAS TOUCH IT!

Anyway. Amauri. He had a goal disallowed in the first few minutes,

But finally got one in shortly before half-time.

Those Brazilians and their dancing!

And that's how it ended. Poor Matri was thumping the hoardings in frustration at his inability to get it in. Target practice for next time, bb? In the meanwhile, Amauri was getting nekkidz.

*beams*

Allegri: Thank you for not kicking my arse today.
Ranieri: It was nothing. You'll be for the high jump come Thursday, anyway - your President's a NUTTER!

Next up is a trip to Atalanta on Wednesday, then Lecce at home at the weekend. Hopefully, there might even be some points from these two...*crosses stuff*
