I was talking to someone, I'm thinking Daniel, the other day, and I said something about how I'd heard Christian Bale got the role of Batman due to American Psycho. He (whoever he was) said he thought it was because of Equilibrium. He described it and it sounded interesting, so I checked it out. Never heard of it before. I'd say it's like a cross between The Matrix and Brave New World. Definitely worth seeing. It also has Emily Watson (from Red Dragon and Punch Drunk Love), Sean Bean, and Taye Diggs. I recognized the last two, but couldn't tell you what else they've been in off the top of my head.
