Bloop bloop!
Wanna see my costume? I made it myself!
I've made the feet a little bigger since this pic was taken. But otherwise, that's it. :) I wore it at lunch today, in the Nickelodeon costume contest. I won a prize. People liked it. I had fun.
One tiny glitch, so far: by overwhelming popular request, I rigged the costume up to make the TiVo "bloop bloop!" noises (I have battery-powered computer speakers attached to the support frame, which are hooked up to my iPod whereupon I've recorded the TiVo sounds), but my iPod battery crapped out on me just as I got the thing on today! But I have the 'Pod charging at home for later on tonight, because I have a second chance to make it work: the WeHo Carnival. I just hope SOMEONE is around to go with me -- the flu is claiming everyone! I hope my one tireless, hell-or-high-water-Halloween-cheerleader neighbor friend feels better today. Actually, if anyone in L.A. is going (ropo?) and wants to join me/us over at Santa Monica Blvd, let me know!
