timeline of yesterdays
our power went out Thursday night around 9:45, while I was on question number 44 out of 50 on the "Facts About You" thing in Ellen's journal.. of course i hadn't saved it. lovely.
I didn't wake up until 10 that morning, so i couldn't just fall asleep, but there was nothing else to do... so i sat in my bed being very appreciative of portable cd players charged by batteries, and flashlights and books.. but then Warren popped through on my phone with a text message.. he kept me company probably until 11:30 or so.. we were going to go play in puddles and then swimming in the nile river that relocated itself to my front yard, but, oh yeah, he's in Virginia. heh
87 text messages back and forth later, my battery died so i sat in the dark and eventually fell asleep. I wish helived closer
There was no power all day yesterday. I don't kow how the Amish do it (but i do know i like their teenage boys ;P) My mom and i went to get sneakers, and these really pretty stools.. I was going to get one for my room, but the store was closed. hmph.
Ah, we went to Accent music to get guitar strings.
I successfully restrung my guitar. I was so proud of myself. :-D :) woohoo
it sounds better now and the strings look prettier. hah
Daryl called me that morning, my phone said, so i called him back and left a message. i wasn't sure if he meant to call me or not, but i called him back and just said to call me if he meant to. He called me back and said he didn't call, or if he did, he didn't mean to. It was probably only a 3 minute conversation, but it was really awkward.. because then we were both stuck on the phone for no reason, since the first call was never meant to be placed. I don't know, it was weird.
i read an entire book yesterday.. A Dance For Three, i think i twas called. it was good.
i came to my dads, no power here. Patty and I lit every candle in the house, and about 3 minutes later the power comes on. hahah. I'd never been so happy to be able to turn on a light. :)
I called over Ian's to get Eddie, cause i thought we were going to do something, but he went home. so erm,. :cough: i guess that didn't happen.
