(no subject)
the people in my dorm are starting to scare me...quoth one on the forums today: "we're going to have so much fun next year. Well...as long as you like cooking, "sex and the city" and painting nails then I'm sure you'll have fun too ;)" so apparently, i'm not going to have any fun next year (i say that sarcastically/jokingly). now they're talking about sewing. i am frightened.
i bought cool dorm stuff today. shopping around in dept. stores and bed bath and beyond and not finding what i wanted, i was about to break down and buy stuff to make the most tackiest dorm room ever, complete with neon green towels. then, we went to Target where i found the most perfect comforter and discovered anything and everything i could need in matching colors there till it almost started to get too matching. gotta watch out for that. it's all blue and green, and i love it. still more shopping to do tomorrow in g-ville. don't worry, i'm still getting green towels (just maybe a little less neon). woo woo.
dorm shopping is so much fun. my mom and i were lying on the floor of Rich's trying out pillows. then i saw this guy in Target walking ahead of us and i pointed out to my mom that he looked just like the character Chris Parnell does in SNL when they do the Appalachian Emergency Room skits that always has something stuck up his ass, and we both started cracking up sooo hard. Quoth my dad on how Target is better than Wal-Mart: "I went in [Wal-Mart] to buy oil for mom's car today, and i went straight to that section, paid for it, and went right back out, and in those five to ten minutes, i saw more peculiar people than i've seen in the last six months. Where do they come from?!?!?"
