So I got the job. I start on the 17th.
Oh, didn't I tell you? Geez.
I put in for a transfer to a facility in Sudbury. It's better hours (11:30am-8pm, 5 days, vs. 5:30pm-5:30am, 3 days), a full 40-hour week (instead of only 36 hours), and a whole whopping quarter more per hour, so I'll be getting about $66 more a week. Downside, is that until I move, it's almost twice the commute. The change in pay will just about cover my increased gas usage. I need to sell my truck soon...
I'll probably be looking to move back up towards Boston-way soon, as well, if not at least closer to the new job.
Also, I find this highly amusing, in that I'm apparantly not dorky or awkward at all (0%!). I am, in fact, "Über Cool"
