Thug Shit

The Bone Thugs-n-Harmony performance at the House of Blues was one to remember. Bone Thugs has been one of, if not my favorite group since they came out. I had an opportunity to see them a couple years ago but I was never one to go to concerts and be in crowds, so I decided not to jump on the opportunity. Plus, I was dating LJ at the time and I didn't think that she would want to go. It wasn't until a couple days after the concert that she told me she would have gone with me if I wanted to go. Oh well, I missed out, my fault. So when I found out they were coming to San Diego again I had to go see them. Miguel and Michelle also went along which was fun. It was tiring standing in line for almost an hour and then staying on our feet until 12:30 am. But at the same time the performance was worth it. Best part was when they started out the show with my favorite song from their Art of War album (or ablum as Layzie Bone calls it), Clog Up Yo mind. They ended up doing a tribute to Biggy and Tupac by performing the songs they made with the both of them. Notorious Thugs with Biggie is also one of my all-time favorites. They performed every weed song they came out with and there was no shortage of weed being smoked in there. Bone even lit it up on stage while performing. They did songs from way back like Thuggish Ruggish Bone and No Surrender from their first album, and also songs from their newest album. It was a great show and it was good to see my favorite group perform even though Bizzy didn't show up to the show, but that was expected.

We had a good time and saw some interesting things and people while in downtown. Everyone knows if you want to see some crazy shit you have to head to downtown. Some ghetto girl and her husband were arguing and hitting each other outside the HOB because they were kicked out due to his being drunk as hell. She was yelling at him in front of all the people and then she would push him and call him names. He got upset once and pushed her and she turned around and clocked him in the back of the head. I'm surprised he didn't end up whooping her ass because she was saying some messed up things, pulling on his shirt, pushing him, slapping him. I guess he was too drunk to give a damn.

After the show we went to Denny's to eat and I pigged out on a breakfast plate. Now I have the worst stomach ache and I'm not feeling so good. Plus I got less then 5 hours of sleep and I have to sit at this boring computer all day. It's going to be a long, long day. Oh well I guess I can entertain myself by e-mailing the ladies upstairs and walking around the building.

On another note, everyone is starting to come and tell me how great it was working with me and how said it is to see me go. I understand I made lots of friends here, but I haven't left yet. I still have a couple weeks of working here before I leave so I wish everyone would just act like I'm not leaving and enjoy the rest of the time I have here. Oh well I guess it's a good thing that they're at least happy for me and sad to see me go. I mean something to people!
