Dear people bitching about DADT,
Can you seriously not see the political strategy at work here? The Democrats got health care passed when NO ONE wanted it. Do you really think that they couldn’t get this thing done if they actually wanted to? They knew the Republicans would fight it, they let them and they let them win. Why? Mid term elections. Now they can say, “look what those evil Republicans did. Vote for us.” I mean come on, this is so obvious its pathetic. How many times do the liberals have to use gay rights as a sacrifice until you see it?
