This weekend an old, beloved character made an extended visit. I'm setting up a room in hopes that he will stay a long time. Hopefully all year, at the very least. I missed writing about him and drawing him.
I'm finding myself quite excited by the prospects, and less intimidated by the enormity of what I am hoping to do with this piece. However it plays out, it will be glorious fun.
Here's to officially beginning! I'm not waiting anymore. I'll become ready, somehow, some way.
This is going to be an adventure. I'm not sure what this is going to end up being, and that's half the excitement. I'm going to stop worrying about how it will all come together and finally just start experimenting, and hopefully find a way to shape my shortcomings into something intriguing and unique that looks intentional.
Alrighty, that's the last I speak of it, until it starts to become something concrete! I am NOT going to sabotage this story. I am going to see it through, to the end, however long it takes.
"How do you begin? Well, you’ll know that when you have finished beginning."
