Matters of death
So Sir Edmund Hilary, the first guy to scale Everest, died last week. Or rather, one of the first two guys. Since he apparently made a pact with his co-climber sherpa Tenzing Norgay that they would never reveal which of the two of them first set foot at the summit so that there wouldn't be any argument. Although Hilary immediately started insisting that HE was the first as soon as Norgay died. What a dick.
He also wasted some time on expeditions to find the yeti. No joke.
Also, Vampira from 'Plan 9 from outer Space' just died this week at 86, according to Elvira's Myspace. Elvira made a very curt, brief message about it, which stands to reason since Vampira sued her for stealing her sexy vampire act back in the day. Except I think that Elvira is hotter because she doesn't have that freaky wasp waist thing that Vampira did. Apparently she had a rib removed to achieve that. Confirm/deny?
