My mom went to her appointment on Thursday and her doctor sent her to get an EKG and also to see a cardiologist. The doctor couldn't be certain that it was her blood pressure medications, so this is her course of therapy. Hopefully they will come to a good conclusion.
School starts next week on the 27th and I am nervous. Like, having bad dreams that I forgot to buy my books or didn't show up for the first day. I am not concerned about my classes so much as I am about the social aspect of this school. I liked community college because I could hide. I could show up and be in my own learning world and interact when needed. Here it feels like it's going to be high school. Dorms, people I don't know and don't live with and see on a daily basis. They'll all know each other and I just feel like this lump of a commuter student. I mean, I'm sure there will be other off-campus livers and commuters and transfers, but for now, this is how I feel.
I replanted my money tree into a bigger pot. That thing is monstrous. I've had it for almost 4 years now and it is huge! I also planted some lavender, basil, and oregano. We'll see how that goes.
We got a Wii Fit! That thing is pretty fun. Kicks my butt already, but fun nonetheless.
I've been on a broadway kick lately and I bought The Phantom of the Opera (which I've never seen) and also Les Miserables (which I've also never seen). Loved them both. We ordered Into The Woods for our Blockbuster queue (at Adam's suggestion). I also want to see Jekyll and Hyde.
