Was behind a dump truck on the way to the clinic this evening. The words "Today is" were printed on each of the mudflaps. But whatever came after those two words was lost--the flaps were severed or torn loose just below the words.

I chuckled, and thought it was both funny and a little frustrating that I wouldn't find out what today is.

Then I thought, "Why does it have to be anything?"

Why not leave it like that?
