So I'm spending a good part of this week cleaning and painting and doing other household type projects. Or I would be if 1) it wasn't going to be so hot that I can't clean out the storage areas that are probably about 15-20 degrees warmer than the outside temperature and 2) the walls were ready like they were supposed to be for painting.
I'm not great at painting and usually I get very frustrated with the drips I'll inevitably get or the coverage I'm getting on the wall, but there's something about looking at a wall you're painting and seeing how much you've covered, how much there is to go and seeing actual progress and your goals right in front of you.
Yet I'm denied that frustration and potential glee today. At least I made myself a decent patty melt for lunch on sourdough.
