Yesterday was Mountain Day. All classes were cancelled and my friends and I hung out in Noho for most of the day, shopping and whatnot. Hungry Ghost Bread = God. If you're a Smithie then you better damn straight know what I'm talking about.

Today I'm driving to DC with friends in the Smith Dems and we are going to protest the war tomorrow. Let's hear it for a 10 hour roadtrip!! I'm going to spend the night at home. I'll finally get to see how the parents will react to the nose piercing...the suspense is killing me. Should be interesting... My room was turned into my mom's new in-home office in the few weeks that I have been gone so I might start cleaning out my dad's old study (from when he was working on his phd) and make it mine. The room is fucking gigantic and has a secret staircase to the kitchen. Mmmm, sneaky midnight snacks...
The only downside of college is missing my boyfriend and my cats. Everything else is a vast improvement.
