I have moved. To meetatthelights. Because I have had this journal for 3+ years, and it's time to leave [most of] the old behind.

It's friends-only now, and I haven't added people yet. Probably won't actually get to it for another two days.

My mom called at 8 am to say that my grandfather passed away this morning.
It's raining umber and terricotta-colored leaves; I have never seen such a beautiful day.

I feel like a mess, but Alzheimer's no longer has a grip on my family and it's better this way.
I'm leaving Smith early on Thursday and will return on Sunday, hopefully.

Whenever he doesn't call me, I get nervous....sometimes even annoyed...but the fact of the matter is, I don't call him every night either...and I suck at forgetting to give him wake-up calls...and only remember to do them on the days that he doesn't actually have a morning class...and he doesn't refrain from calling me because he doesn't want to ( Read more... )
