Interpol Or Bust!
Last night ruled! And so did the night before - but not as much. Let me re-cap:
Tuesday afternoon got picked up by Francois, Jet, and Ben
Drove around in Ben's rad 80's rice rocket listening to the Sounds looking for Halloween costumes
Went home, watched Rocky Horror Picture Show before I went to Zelo's
Met up with friends at Zelo's and watched the Adored - the lead singer is kind of an asshole, and the rest of the guys in the band are really gay and only dance with each other - or worry because they lost their "real diamond" tie clip - awww
Danced like no other to the Colour and walked out of the pit (after their show) with bleeding cuts and bruises on my feet. It was so awesome!
Hung out with Meech, who also stuck around to watch Kissing Tigers with me
They ruled, but I danced on the side instead of the pit
Got some free stuff, aka the Colour pins, and the Kissing Tigers cd - thanks Mark! and I got the Colour cd, but I have to say I can't stop listening to the Kissing Tigers album - it's on repeat - YEA It's THAT good!
Went home to sleep for a few hours
Woke up around 6:45 to meet my stupid online teacher for her stupid early ass office hours, and she wasn't even bloody there! I was sooo pissed, I turned scitzo on the walk back to my bed - how lame?
Went to school all day and left Italiano early to drive down to L.A. to see Interpol at the Wiltern with Vero!!!!
The band that played before them was super rad! I don't know who it was though - it was either Secret Machines or Hail Social. We missed one of them because we got there late
The Wiltern is such a cool place - it's really old and has the dark, mysterious, old hollywood feel to it. And anywhere you sit you have a good seat because you see everything. Go there if you have a chance!
Interpol's show was spectacular and magical. Their light show was phenomenal and made me want to be a professional lighter for shows (what's it called?) Well it gave me some cool ideas for promo pics - dudes in Fly By Night - Steve, Brian - it's gonna be rad!
Oh, did I mention my seats were two rows away from Jason Lee's seats? That's the second time I've seen him at show - the last one was Trail of Dead at the Henry Fonda a couple years ago. He's rad - he likes good music
OH! And I also saw Jared Letto! I've decided he is my dream guy, and we're gonna get married and do it all the time! haha - I'm so in love right now
After the show went to Denny's and ate Belguin Waffles
Saw Carlos from Interpol after Denny's he was super nice, even though we didn't talk to him - he just seemed like a really cool guy
It was fucking freezing and I had a mini skirt on, so we got in our car and followed the tour bus - not really! They just happened to be turning the same direction we were driving, and then we drove passed - they prolly weren't even in there anyways
Woke up this morning to do my laundry, but my mom did it for me! Yay! Go mom! She got me food for breakfast too, which ruled!
Drove back home to go to math that turned out to be canceled
Offered the hot guy in our class to come eat with Korie and I, but none of us were hungry so we went our seperate ways (dammit!)
Life is soooo sweet right!
Halloween is gonna be so fun, because I have fun friends to hang out with this year, YAY! Go friends!
