The Bored Jacket

So one of my favoritest websites ever is
http://www.yankodesign.com/
It's basically a weblog featuring the coolest designs and concepts for anything and everything, gadgets, furniture and architecture, appliances, whatever. I could look through the different designs for hours on end. A lot of it is still just conceptual, like a "It would be ubercool if something like this existed" even if it's not the most functional thing in the world or it would be kinda hard to manufacture it. But there are a lot of things that you could actually buy, albeit at a hefty price.

Today I saw some things that I think would be so cool to have. One was a toaster that you can print whatever message or design you want onto your toast with the heat. You could write a note or draw a little picture, and it'll be the browner part of your toast. There's another thing that was a vacuum that children could ride. They think they're playing, driving the noisy, sucky toy car, and little do they know they're actually cleaning for you. Y'all know how much I hate cleaning. I'd totally love to have my children do it for me, while they're enjoying themselves, of course. Heck, even if they made one rideable for adults, I'd probably enjoy cleaning, too...

Anyway, there's this one design that I think would be uberfun to get with all my friends. It's so simple. It's a jacket that's covered in alternating strips of velcro. So basically, you run into people and you stick. I just think it'd be some crazy fun to play around with them, if there were like a whole bunch of people wearing them.

Quite like this.

You can even use it to carry children. How convenient.

Yep, I want like 10, for velcro silliness days for me and my friends. Although I wouldn't wear it in public on a regular day. Heaven knows how often you'd walk by a girl with a delicate blouse, snag it, and get whacked upside the head with her heavy purse.
