Tonight's TV...

Was wonderful. How cool is it that I now get to look forward to Monday nights for something other than Monday Night Football?

Chuck continues to be fabulous. I think his handlers are actually starting to like him, which is a win. And how cool is it that Casey, of all people, is into Bonsai Trees? I LOLed. Whee, chickfight! And those two guys were seriously large. Dude. But when Casey threw...whatever that was at the one thug's head and said "Now that's what I call moving merchandise," I LOLed again. Mr. Baldwin, sir, you are made of awesome. Don't ever change.

Heroes! The return of Sylar! Who is SO SCREWED. I kept yelling at my screen, "YOU KNOW HE'S GOING TO EAT YOUR BRAIN, RIGHT?" at Candace, but alas. She was not listening. And Claire is flying around with West now, and her daddy kidnaped the kid a couple of years ago, and she's now been hit in the face with the fact that Dad wasn't always a very nice person. Of course, the fact that West can fly makes me wonder if Nathan is his dad, and so this ship will also go down in flames of the incest-is-bad variety. And then there was our shot of that last painting, which made me wibble. NO! We have averted Manhattan becoming a glowing hole in the ground; we can avert this too!

And Hiro found a way to communicate with Ando! Hiro = Jiminy Cricket! He's so darn cute I just want to pinch his cheeks.

And DL's dead. *cries* But the relative Niki is leaving Micah with is Uhuru, and that is just so cool I nearly squeed my pants. I wonder if any other classic Trek alums are going to show up. It'd be neat to see Walter Koenig just to be able to say "I met him once, and he has a Puli."

I'm not sure I like how they're pairing people up right now. Tim, dear, we don't need romance in the show; it messes things up and slows the plot down. This is what we have fanfiction for. Plz to not be having these characters screwing each other like bunnies, or I will be a sad anteater. And no one wants that.

Journeyman continues to be ... pretty cool. I like it; I don't love it--at least not yet. I really like how he and Katie are working through this whole thing together. Of course, after tonight they're going to have to have another talk, aren't they?

I found out today that I'll at least know one person at WorldCon, assuming I get to go. Since it's practically in our backyard, I'm assuming that most of the local SF/F writers I know are also going to be there, and hopefully I won't be lost in a vast sea of unfamiliar faces and intimidating editors. Of course, all the local SF/F writers I know are male, which does not help me with the roomie sitch, but I'm sure I'll be able to work...something out. Probably a little early to be thinking about such.

And I'm still sick.

I have 155 words of dialogue in my Dare to Be Bad challenge fic. *beats back yet another plot bunny with a stick* NO. I am not going to write fanfiction wherein Jayne has lost track of Illyria. That would be a step backwards. Not gonna do it.
