1. albert camus:
   Reading "The Stranger" was an absolutely pivotal moment in my life. I did my HS thesis on it. There is so much depth of meaning in his writing.
2. body modification:
   Who would have thought I would have had to spend so much time taking metal out of my body right before I gave birth. Poking holes in bits of flesh makes me happy. Having a piercing done is a mentally cleansing experience and is beatiful when finished.
3. cooking:
   My secret alter ego is Martha Stewart. I love her. I love Good Things. Cooking is my creative outlet. That's good because I love few things as much as I love eating.
4. electronic music:
   Don't have a good explanation for this one since I can't dance worth a damn.
5. george a. romero:
   A horror visionary. Not much needs to be said about this one.
6. horror movies:
   I am especially fond of the Hollywood classics and really tacky B horror movies.
7. jacqueline carey:
   Her Kushiel series rules. Her writing is beautiful, rich, and intricate.

9. sci-fi:
   I don't dress up in any costumes or anything, but I have a thing for sci-fi and fantasy. I don't do TV. Reading is my way to come down and relax. I'm a really visual reader. Tales of the fantastic are much more fun to visualize.

    A twisted little boy in a grown man's body. Tim Burton rules. He has the amazing ability to bring out the dark side of everything in a beautifully artistic way.
