Okay, why is it that whenever I post and/or comment on a community, LiveJournal gives me the option to change my userpic, and then just uses the default userpic anyway? I have a shedload of icons that aren't getting used at all.

side note, I forgot how to actually ask livejournal this question, and in typical intarwebs fashion I am nerdraging
